Jeffrey M. Staab earned a doctorate in canon law at the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. He holds an M.A. in theology from the University of Dayton and has worked in parish, educational, tribunal, and chancery settings. For more than 20 years, he has specialized in marriage cases, while at the same time developing a broad expertise in other areas of canon law.

 

Dr. Staab’s primary practice areas are marriage law, penal law, and administrative law, including recourses in disputes involving laity, religious, and clergy. He consults in liturgical law and pastoral planning, and enjoys teaching and speaking on canon law topics. He is a member of the Eastern Regional Conference of Canonists, the Mid-West Canon Law Society, and the Canon Law Society of America.
